Three young fullbacks that could replace Alex Sandro this summer

News are doing rounds that Alex Sandro is set to be sold in the next summer transfer window. The Brazilian left back hasn’t been the coach’s or tifosi’s favourite since start of the season. The player has made 27 appearances for the club so far in the 2021-22 season while finding the back of the net once and recording one assist. His contract is set to expire in 2023 and the Bianconeri consider him transferable.
Moreover during the rejuvenation process, strengthening the left back position is the next target for the board.

Andrea Cambiaso
Andrea is 21-year-old Italian fullback who is a product of Genoa youth team.He spent 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons on loan to Serie D clubs Albissola and Savona respectivey and helped Albissola achieve promotion to Serie C. In September 2020 he joined Serie B club Empoli on loan. Currently he is playing for Serie A club Genoa.The player has made 101 appearances across all clubs.In the 2021 season the Italian made 24 appearances for Genoa while scoring once and assisting 4 times.The player has a recent history of hamstring injury.
Destiny Udogie
Destiny is 19-year-old Italian left back who plays for Udinese. He grew up in the Hellas Verona youth system and joined Udinese in summer 2021 on loan with an obligation to buy. The left back has made 20 appearances for Udinese so far and has assisted once. The player missed 3 games for Udinese in this season due to calf problem.In the recent match against Juventus Udogie had three interceptions and three clearances, won seven duels and created one scoring chance.
Owen Wijndal
Owen Wijndal is a 22-year-old Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar and the Netherlands national team.The Dutch has made 100 appearances for his club scoring thrice. The player has made 11 appearances for the national team as well. He has started all matches for his club this season.The player has recent history of groin injury. Owen is managed by Mino Raiola who has cordial relations with the Old lady.
