The Argentine has shown time and time again his qualities are essential to Juventus and the transition from the midfield to the attack starts and flows with him. In the 2019-20 season, Dybala was named Serie A MVP and helped contribute to winning the domestic competition. He scored 17 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions that season, but fans will remember the second leg of the Champions League against Olympique Lyon when he was rushed back from injury and relapsed at the beginning of the game. Since then, Dybala has struggled with ongoing muscular injuries. Another injury happened during the match against Torino last Friday when La Joya motioned to the sideline at the 54th minute for a substitution. According to Transfermarkt, these are his injuries from the 2019-20 season to now, how long the injury lasted, and how many games he has missed:
19/20 Thigh problems, 10 days, 2 games missed
20/21 Thigh problems, 47 days, 2 games missed

21/22 Muscular problems, 23 days, 3 games missed

Dybala currently has 12 goals and 6 assists in all competitions this season. Juventus play against Europa League winners Villareal on Tuesday in the Champions League without the forward. Dybala pulled out of the game last Friday just in time to prevent a bigger injury and is ruled out for only 10 days. Hopefully, he just misses the first leg of the Champions League match and will be available for the rest of the season as well.
