Aaron Ramsey will join Rangers on loan with an option to buy from Juventus. The Scottish side are covering a part of Ramsey’s salary and the midfielder will sign his contract soon. Coach Max Allegri had already said that Ramsey would leave Turin multiple times and now it’s official.
Exact numbers about how much of Ramsey’s 7 million salary Rangers will cover and what price the option to buy is, are still unknown. Multiple sources report that Juve are ready to pay 30 percent of his salary and according to the reliable TuttoJuve.com journalist Mirko Di Natale, the option will be 6 million euros. It looked like Ramsey would stay at Juve after declining offers from Burnley, Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, but the Welshman will leave Juve on deadline day.
34 matches missed
Ramsey’s time at Juve was riddled with injuries. After joining the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Arsenal, he missed 34 matches due to injuries and illness. Ramsey scored 6 goals and gave the same number of assists in 70 games for Juve.
