With less than a week remaining in January, Juventus pulled off the shock move of all shock moves in the recent history of the winter Mercato, when Romeo Agresti reported that Juventus and Vlahovic had agreed to terms and that the next step was to sit down with Fiorentina management and make a deal for the player, which then quickly developed into Juve and Fiorentina agreeing to terms on a transfer fee that will be in an around the range of €65M-€70M.

Baring any last second changes, this deal appears to be in the books and Juventus can move on and call this Mercato a job well done? Well, not so fast, as new reports are suggesting that after Vlahovic, Juventus will have their eyes set on another player of a rival club who’s also running out of contact at the end of the season, and that player is AC Milan Midfielder and Ivory Coast international Franck Kessié.

According to SeriaNews.com, Juventus have made contacts with Milan for Kessié, as it has been well known he has no intention of renewing his contract that is expiring in June and has been at the top of the list of several big name Clubs Europe for some time. For Milan management, selling Kessié in January would possibly save them the embarrassment of saying good bye to another high profile player through a free transfer, and thus missing another opportunity to cash in.
