Amidst speculation about his future, Sandro expressed gratitude towards Allegri, emphasizing the significance of their relationship.
“My family and I know that the moment of goodbye or farewell will come, it’s hard to say. There are so many stories, so many moments; it’s difficult to imagine my life without Juventus. Whenever I talk about Juventus, my eyes shine. I’ve had a great time, and Juventus will always be in my heart.”
Sandro’s departure marks the end of a significant chapter in his career, characterized by his evolution from an attacking full-back to a key component of Juventus’ defensive setup.

Central to Sandro’s journey at Juventus has been his bond with Allegri, both professionally and personally. Sandro credited Allegri for his growth, both on and off the pitch, highlighting the coach’s emphasis on character development alongside footballing skills.
“He’s a crucial figure in my career, not just as a player but as a person too. I’ve learned a lot with him, on and off the field. He always demands the best, not just from players, but from people,” he said.
“He often says that making mistakes is normal, but he wants to see people who are willing to try, who make mistakes while trying to do things. He respects that, the value of the person before the player. I admire him a lot for these things.”
While Sandro reminisced about his triumphs with Juventus, he also emphasized the deeper connections forged during his time at the club. Beyond trophies, he values the relationships built with teammates, coaches, and staff members.
“When the offer from Juventus came, I felt a shiver because I would play for one of the most important clubs in the world. Of the seven trophies won, the first one is the most precious because it’s where everything begins,” said Alex Sandro.
“Today, I always talk about it with the guys; the most important thing isn’t the trophies. For life, there are all the people I’ve met and worked with. When I leave, I won’t just leave behind trophies, but friends, teammates, coaches, kit men, physiotherapists, doctors, everyone. The most important trophy I have at Juventus is all of this.”
Sandro concluded by fondly recalling his first goal in Juventus colors, likening himself to the legendary Adriano.
“The first goal in the Juventus jersey is always the most special and significant. Dani Alves’ ground cross, I controlled it and turned on my left foot, and I looked like Adriano, the Emperor…”
As Alex Sandro bids farewell to Juventus, his departure signifies not just the end of an era on the field but also the lasting impact of his tenure off it.
