Juventus continue to put pressure on the front teams in the hope that they can return in the battle for the Scudetto this season.
The Bianconeri beat Udinese 1-0 thanks to Danilo’s late goal, their eighth consecutive win in Serie A without conceding a goal.
As they prepare to face Napoli in their next game, Juventus are four points behind Napoli which still has a game to play. Should Napoli win, they will be seven points ahead of Juventus.
Massimiliano Allegri had more to say after the Udinese game: “We have to improve performance, today it was better than in Cremona but Udinese is a strong team. In the second half we grew up and had opportunities, it was a good victory brought home.

“Di Maria made extraordinary games, Paredes gave an excellent ball, if you don’t have the desire to question you hardly take the games home. We must continue to work in silence, today is an important victory.
“We defended well, Di Maria played at good levels but came from 15 days of detention, then stopped. I am happy with him and with all the guys who have put heart and desire, then everyone will be needed to recover physical and mental energies.”
On the approach: “We must want to do the possession and non-possession phase, we made a little too many balls wrong. In the first half Miretti had a good game, McKennie on the outside has different characteristics, but we knew that everything would change in the second half.”
On Paredes: “Locatelli made more effort because he came from a great performance in Cremona. Paredes can become important, he has extraordinary qualities, but he has to improve a lot on the long run.”
On the objectives: “It will be a beautiful evening in Naples, it is always nice to play there. But we play against the team clearly favored for the championship, there are two days left at the end of the first leg and so far we have a good result, but we have to raise the level.”
On Federico Chiesa: “Out for a year, the risk of injury is around the corner if he plays one game after another. Today on the right it was quite closed, I tried it on the left and made two important flares. It takes some time for you to find the condition.”
On the title race: “Today was a beautiful evening to remember Vialli, the stadium was full. We have to take it one step at a time, work and be precise and punctual in performance. Naples and Milan are ahead, Inter are currently behind but the minimum target for us is fourth place.”
