Massimiliano Allegri spoke in a press conference on the eve of the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta. The Bianconeri coach emphasized the importance of the match and the need to approach the game with the right mentality.
“We’re coming into it well, but we hope to do even better tomorrow night,” Allegri said. “I compliment Atalanta, it will be a difficult match. There will be moments of difficulty and they need to be addressed. They have excellent technical and physical qualities, we need to respond effectively. You have to be good at turning the key moments in your favor, with them games are never over.”
Allegri acknowledged Atalanta’s favoritism but stressed the importance of the match for Juventus.
“For all of us, tomorrow could also be the last final,” he said. “We’ll need to play with pragmatism and have a good game.”

“The main objective is for Juventus to play in the next Champions League,” Allegri explained. “Tomorrow’s a final, finals are events. But participating in these events isn’t for everyone.”
Looking ahead to the clash with Atalanta, Allegri emphasized the need for respect and a winning mentality.
“We’ll have great respect for Atalanta, games are won on the pitch, we need to be good, but we need to have the conviction to bring this cup home,” he declared.
He concluded by highlighting the significance of the trophy and praising Atalanta’s achievements.
“We have the chance to win and it would be a significant result,” Allegri said. “There’s nothing but compliments to give to Atalanta, the work they’ve done isn’t easy. Credit to the club and Gasperini.”
Allegri finished the press conference with a motivational message to his players: “Tomorrow let’s give everything we have to bring this cup home. It’s an important opportunity and we can’t waste it.”
