Juventus is negotiatting the sale of Arthur to Valencia. While Allegri’s plans do not include the Brazilian, Gattuso would welcome him with open arms. Two essential conditions, but not enough to seal the deal. After the player’s opening, the companies must then negotiate to overcome obstacles and reach the white smoke.
The engagement is the first of two obstacles. Arthur refuses to give up his €5 million net per season, which Valencia cannot afford. As a result, the Spaniards are asking Juve to participate, but only in a certain percentage: they do not want to go above half of the Continassa. The other node only concerns Valencia, which will have to sell a non-EU citizen to make room for Arthur: Uruguayan Maxi Gomez is leaving, but only after his sale is completed will it be possible to close for Arthur. Though Juve would like to complete the deal as soon as possible because they also want to focus on other deals, particularly bringing in new quality players.
