Riccardo Calafiori and Thiago Motta are both close to sealing Juventus moves. New rumours have come out about both of them coming to Turin from separate sources. The Bologna pair seem ready for a sensational summer switch after months of speculation.
Riccardo Calafiori getting closer
According to Nicolo Schria, Calafiori has been Juventus’ main centre-back target for months. The Bianconeri are currently negotiating with Bologna’s board to reach an agreement over the transfer fee. He has been valued at around €25 million, according to reports. Calafiori is expected to sign a five-year deal upon his potential arrival to the club.
This season, Calafiori has been integral to Thiago Motta’s system, featuring in 29 games and racking up five assists. This was after he was bought in this season from Swiss club FC Basel for €4.5 million euros.
The Italian defender has arguably developed into becoming Seria A’s best centre-back in the span of only one season. No player in Seria A has more interceptions, while he has registered a stunning 93% success in aerial duels. According to datamb on X, he is also one of the league’s best defenders in terms of progressive runs and passing accuracy.

Thiago Motta to Juventus all but done?
According to Tuttomerecato, an agreement between Juventus and Motta is already in place. This is despite the young manager’s links with PSG and AC Milan.
Luis Enrique may keep his job at PSG for next season. Pioli is confirmed to leave Milan, but the Rossoneri have already started looking for new options to replace him as Motta is destined to come to Juventus.
Motta has helped Bologna push for Champions League football this season. They sit third in Serie A after beating Napoli 2-0 this weekend.
