Italian footballer Leonardo Bonucci has initiated legal proceedings against his former club, Juventus, citing claims of professional and image damage.
This development comes in the wake of Bonucci’s departure from Juventus to join Union Berlin on a free transfer, a move that saw the termination of his contract with the Turin-based club.
The legal action, led by Bonucci’s lawyers Antonio Conte and Gabriele Zuccheretti, centers on the alleged failure of Juventus to provide adequate training and preparation conditions for the player during his time at the club.
According to sources cited from Di Marzio, the footballer and his legal team believe that the subpar training conditions have had a negative impact on Bonucci’s professional career and public image.

Bonucci’s lawyers are set to proceed with their legal action as per the terms outlined in the collective agreement. The action includes a request for compensation for damages incurred by the player during his tenure with Juventus.
It’s worth noting that prior to the termination of his contract, Juventus had excluded Bonucci from first-team training sessions as he was no longer part of the club’s plans, and he was instructed to leave the club immediately.
