Chiesa dedicated Juventus’ victory over Udinese to Gianluca Vialli
Federico Chiesa provided his second Serie A assist in Juventus’ 1-0 win over Udinese on Saturday, despite not having started a single game for them this season.
The Italian winger came back from injury last year, but was not able to start a game from the beginning on the pitch, but every time he played from the benche he was very impressive.
Juventus beat Udinese 1-0, their eighth straight Serie A win without conceding a goal.
The goal was scored by Danilo on a pass from Federico Chiesa in the last minutes of the game, after a great job done by Leandro Paredes.
Federico Chiesa made a statement after the match where he talked about Gianluca Vialli who died yesterday, and more:
On Gianluca Vialli: “In this victory the thought goes to Vialli, it was a great person that I had the pleasure of meeting. Especially on a human level, what he passed us on to the European Championship was one more player for us. The emotions are very strong, we should talk about it for hours on end.”
On the goal: “Unfortunately I was stopped 15 days during the retreat, I didn’t risk during the friendlies but now I’m available to the coach. After the goal I told Dani that he had to come and hug me (laughs, ed.).”
On last year: “It was very difficult for me but I leave it behind, I want to go back to the levels before to help the team. We didn’t start well but we are returning to the roadway “.
On the Scudetto: “We straightened the shot, that’s okay. But we must always raise the bar.”
