With all the news in the last 24 hours being about a possible transfer of Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo to Juventus, it’s time to take a look at other names that for the club could be a short term solution for the problems they are experiencing from the forward position.

Someone who’s name recently caught my attention, was that of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who I’d be the first to admit that I never wanted at the club when I heard his name come up in previous rumours, but with all things in life, sometimes it just comes down to timing and right now it seems that it may be good timing for both Juventus and Aubameyang, as Calcio Mercato is today reporting that the player is on a short list of names being consider by Juve’s new director of Football Federico Cherubini.

A straight purchase of the player was always never going to happen, but with the player Aubameyang falling out with Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, who became so frustrated with the player that he stripped him of his captaincy, now would be the right time to see if a dry loan could be a possibility. A loan would be perfect as it would be a stop gap for Juve until the summer when they can finally re-evaluate and make purchase’s for younger talent that could be with the team for years to come.
