Juventus will try to sign the right-back in the summer, but they want a young and inexpensive player to replace Juan Cuadrado who’s now more likely to depart at the end of the season.
It is expected that Juventus will not renew Juan Cuadrado’s contract, as there are no negotiations to renew him, but will let him go when his contract expires in the summer.
Juan Cuadrado has been one of the key players who have helped Juventus win various trophies over the years since joining from Fiorentina.
Among the players Massimiliano Allegri wants to replace Cuadrado, there’s Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot, but the Portuguese international has confirmed that he is in talks with Manchester United to extend his contract.

Diogo Dalot has established himself as one of the most important players under Erik ten Hag, and you could not ignore that the contract was due to expire in the summer but Manchester United triggered an option to extend it for one more year, which means that it’ll run out in 2024.
Given the situation at hand, Juventus were reportedly looking to explore the possibility of signing Dalot in order to reinforce the right-back position for the next season. His recent comments, however, will now force the Catalans to look for alternatives.
“We are in a position to say that we are negotiating [my contract] and how both parties will benefit, but it is no secret that I am happy to be here. I love this club, I love to play for this club so we will see how things go,” said Dalot toThe United Stand channel.
“Progressively we are in a good direction as a team, for me, this is the most important part and hopefully individually I can continue to help the team as I am doing.”
It is believed that the 23-year-old will sign a long-term deal with the Red Devils.
