As Saudi Arabia stands on the brink of officially hosting the 2034 World Cup, it has taken a significant stride into the world of football with a newly forged partnership with Juventus. The Italian football giant has signed a sports agreement with “Future Falcons,” a Saudi program dedicated to nurturing footballing excellence and young talents.

According to Juventus’ official statement, the deal was sealed at a signing ceremony held at the club’s headquarters, attended by Ghassan Felemban and Romeo Jozak, Director General and Technical Director of the Future Falcons program, along with Juventus’ President Gianluca Ferrero and CEO Maurizio Scanavino.

This collaboration is described as a pivotal step, not only for the growth of young Juventus players but also for the development of footballers within the “Future Falcons” program, initiated by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation as part of the “Vision 2030” project.

The sports partnership will open doors for young Saudi talents, offering them opportunities such as intensive training sessions and friendly matches. Simultaneously, it provides a significant chance for Juventus’ youth, giving them the experience of competing in international matches, which is invaluable for their growth.

The partnership also entails numerous cooperative efforts, including training programs for technical and administrative staff, support for technical and medical teams, access to Juventus facilities, and the presence of Juventus scouts and coaches at Future Falcons’ games and training sessions.

Gianluca Pessotto, Football Teams Staff Coordination Manager at Juventus, emphasized the collaboration’s core objective: youth development. He believes that Future Falcons is a remarkable project that centers around Saudi Arabia’s most promising young players.

The goal is to aid in nurturing their talents by combining the expertise of both parties, not only in the realm of sports but also in education. Additionally, the opportunity for Future Falcons’ players to come to Turin for intensive training sessions is another aspect of the collaboration that he considers significant.

Ghassan Felemban expressed his gratitude to Juventus and highlighted the positive impact this collaboration will have on talent development. The commitment to technical excellence and personal improvement, in alignment with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation’s methodology, remains unwavering.

This partnership underscores the growing global reach of football, where iconic clubs like Juventus actively participate in nurturing the future talents of emerging football nations.

As Saudi Arabia continues its footballing journey, this collaboration with Juventus will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the country’s footballing landscape in the years to come.
