Federico Chiesa said that Juventus played badly and were not aggressive against Napoli after a victory over Monza in Coppa Italia on Thursday night.
Juventus beat Monza 2-1 to reach the Coppa Italia quarterfinals thanks to goals from Federico Chiesa and Moise Kean, but destroyed by Napoli last Saturday in Serie A.
Napoli beat Juventus 5-1 in the game Federico Chiesa started on the pitch and was used as a defender in the first half of the match.
Federico Chiesa scored his first goal since returning from a long-term injury, but he said Juventus played badly against Napoli last week.

“We played badly, we were not very aggressive. Monza played well tonight too, but we were focused and aggressive, they struggled to shoot. Then we have the champions, but we have to play better,” said Chiesa to Sportmediaset.
“As I have always said, we have to raise the bar, we are under again and we think of Atalanta, it will be a fundamental game.”
Federico Chiesa suffered an injury at the beginning of last year, which kept him out of action until the end of last year.
He said: “2022 was a difficult, bad year, now I am thinking of training and getting back in shape. I have to get back in shape, play and put minutes in my legs playing every three days. I’m putting all my strength into helping my teammates.”
Juventus confirmed a new management yesterday led by Gianluca Ferrero as president and Maurizio Scanavino as new CEO replacing Andrea Agnelli and Maurizio Arrivabene respectively.
“Let’s try to bring Juventus back to where it deserves, the company will take care of the rest,” Chiesa concluded.
