Juventus have now suffered 5 defeats in 14 league games this season, the Bianconeri are 8th in the league and the hopes of top 4 are fading. Here are the five things we noticed in Allegri’s Juve vs Atalanta.
Allegri’s stubbornness with his formation continues to cost Juventus, as the Bianconeri once again took the field with the abysmal 4-4-2.
Once again our centre backs showed no understanding and were all over the place. The goal scored by Atalanta comes from that, De Ligt drops deep and plays Zapata onside who than makes no mistake with the finish.
Juve’s midfield continues to show no control of the game in the middle of the park. Once our midfielders get on the ball, they get over excited seeing the ball at their feet and pass it with blind eyes.

Federico Chiesa once again failed to make any impact in the first half and had to be subbed off due to a flexor issue at the half time interval. The Italian having a real hard time and doesn’t look like the Chiesa which we saw in the summer during the euros.
Morata must be thinking last night if he was playing with his own teammates or not because from what I saw nobody tried to suppourt him when he was trying to hold the ball. Nobody was coming close, All he could do is touch it touch and get kicked from the backside. It was very frustrating to see Dybala Bernardeschi Chiesa and Rabiot standing there and not moving close to Morata. When Kean came on, I thought we saw a better Morata in the last 10 minutes.
All these questions have to be answered by Allegri and his coaching staff on the pitch. The squad we have is not ideal but we should be in a far better situation, Nearly 15 league games and we don’t have a clue on what our team is trying to do on the field. It’s so disappointing.
