Paulo Dybala is only 39 days away from playing his last match for Juventus. The 28-year-old Argentinian forward will be ending his seven-year association with the Old Lady at the end of June when his contract expires with the club. The Bianconeri announced last month that his deal will not be renewed, forcing him to find a new home for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Dybala is hoping to pick up his 13th major title with Juventus this season before his departure, ending his time in Turin on a high. The former Palermo man has won five Scudetti, three Supercoppa Italiana and four Coppa Italia for the Bianconeri over the last seven years.
Dybala is also aiming to overtake Baggio’s all-time goal record with Juventus. The Argentine has netted 113 goals in 285 appearances for the Old Lady, putting him 10th in the all-time table, and he’s only two behind 9th place Baggio, who scored 115 goals in 200 appearances.
But is Dybala a Bianconeri legend? NO, not in my opinion. Dybala has been a great servant for the club for several years but he’s not a legend. When Juve signed Dybala, Juventini felt he would go on to become one of the greatest players in the history. No one considers him that now, but few consider him a club legend.

For me, a legend has to serve the club with brilliance for close to a decade. Dybala has been with the club for seven years but he’s been fighting with injuries and inconsistency since 2018. Dybala was the awarded the Serie A MVP in the 19/20 season under Maurizio Sarri but other three of last four years have been disappointing by the Argentine. So effectively, he’s been great for four years. Still, some fans would consider him a legend and it’s their opinion but I won’t.
It’s a great discuss for sure and some of them are still undecided and waiting to see whether Paulo Dybala betrays Juventus by joining rivals Inter Milan and would base their decision on that. It would really hurt the fans if Dybala does go to Inter and he’s likely to loose respect from the fans if he actually does that.
