From bad to worse, Juventus has taken only two points out of 12 in the last four games after today’s draw against Hellas Verona.
The Gialloblu took an early lead in the 11th minute after a wonder strike from Michael Folorunsho. The Bianconeri pulled one back thanks to Dusan Vlahovic who converted from the penalty spot.
After halftime, Verona again took the lead only seven minutes after a poor throw-in from Filip Kostic that led to the counterattack.
Adrien Rabiot was able to tie the game for Juventus three minutes after Verona’s goal thanks to a mistake from the Gialloblu defense. Locatelli controlled the stray pass and saw Rabiot in front of the goal.
The match would remain a draw but Federico Chiesa came close to the winning goal but Verona’s goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo stuck his foot out to make the save.
AC Milan have the opportunity to take the 2nd place spot in Serie A if they beat AC Monza tomorrow, leaving Juventus in 3rd.
The Bianconeri will play Frosinone at home next Sunday in hopes of a win and to break the winless streak.
