After a very disappointing season under Andrea Pirlo, the hierarchy has called Massimiliano Allegri to take the managerial job at the club once again.
Max Allegri spent five years in Turin in his first spell, winning the scudetto in each of them, the Italian also led the Bianconeri to four Coppa Italia trophies and two Supercoppa Italia trophies. Under Allegri’s reign the club also reached the final of the UEFA Champions League twice but failed on both ocassions.
According to the reliable Romeo Agresti, Max Allegri will start with a 4-3-3 formation. The other formation that has been travelling around the papers is 4-2-3-1.
Allegri dreams of Manuel Locatelli in his midfield. A name that has been hugely linked with Juve in last few weeks. Allegri sees Locatelli as a regista. A role which Locatelli has performed very well for his current club Sassouolo. According to the papers, Allegri prefers Bentancur or Rabiot in the Mezzella role alongside Manuel Locatelli
Juan Cuadrado’s position has been talked since the return of Allegri. Under Allegri, Cuadrado never featured as a right back. Maurizio Sarri first shifted Juan Cuadrado to the right back position. It remains to be seen if Allegri uses Cuadrado as a right back or as a winger where he played him in his first spell.
Dybala had a great time under Allegri and tha Italian coach is a huge fan of the Argentine playmaker. Dybala is set to play a main part in Allegri’s plans and is seen as the centre of the project.

Federico Chiesa was arguably one of the top three Juventus players of last season. Chiesa is a versatile winger who can play on both flanks, Chiesa will definitely have a big role in Allegri’s plans.
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return at Continassa on Monday. Cristiano can play on the left wing or as a striker too. In the 18/19 season when the pair worked together, Allegri played Cristiano as a left winger, but would occasionally switch positions with Mario Mandzukic.
Under Maurizio Sarri, Cristiano played mainly as an inverted left winger, very close to Paulo Dybala, who featured as a false 9 for most of the season.
Last year under Pirlo, Ronaldo played in a front two with Alvaro Morata in a 4-4-2 formation.
