Juventus released an official statement saying Paul Pogba has suffered a “lesion of the lateral meniscus” and will miss the preseason game against FC Barcelona tomorrow.
On Sunday, Pogba stopped training due to knee discomfort and was seen limping entering the team’s hotel in Los Angeles.
Romeo Agresti reported that same day that Juventus were not worried about Pogba’s condition and that there would be no scans done on the player.
Pogba will inevitably have to undergo surgery that could keep him out of action for six weeks to three months.
This injury might force Juventus to push for more depth in the midfield after a significant blow in developing the team.
