Juventus got off to horrible start under Max Allegri 2.0 leaving supporters (and myself) very frustrated and concerned that our worst nightmare, seeing Juve finish outside the top four, may actually happen.
With losses and draws against lesser opponents such as Napoli, Hellas Verona, Sassuolo and Venezia began to amount, and with Injuries to key players, it seemed these concerns might become a reality.
And then an early gift for all Juventini just before Christmas, Atalanta and Napoli drop points, as Juve win there finally game before the 2 week long break 2-0 against Bologna, leaving them only 4 points back of the final European spot and suddenly there is hope again.
And now some good news during this festive occasion, an injury update, consider this a late Christmas present, as Giorgio Chiellini, Paulo Dybala and Federico Chiesa will all be available after the break, with Danilo working hard and is not too far behind.
This couldn’t be better news for all Juventini, especially with important season defining matches coming up against their biggest rivals.
With Max Allegri always seeming to get the best out of his club after the new year, who knows, with all our key players fit, maybe a Champions League final may really be possible.
