On Tuesday morning, Serie A Champions and Juve’s biggest rival Inter Milan had the headquarters raided by the Italian Police “at the request of the Milan public prosecutor’s office to verify that the relevant capital gains were correctly recored in the accounts” Inter said in a statement.
This news comes 2 weeks after Juventus had their headquarters raided by police at the request of prosecutors for the same reason thus causing fans of rival clubs, including Inter and the Italian press calling for Juve to be relegated to Serie B or at the very least face a harsh finical punishment.
Now that it’s Inter Milan who have been raided, we will all be curious to see if the same calls will be made against the club that Marco Materazzi called “pure” while wearing a white jacket speaking to supporters of Inter before their opening game of the 2006-2007 season.
