“The defeat against Villarreal was disappointing, but Juve reacted quickly. The team wants to have a successful season. I believe in them very much” This is the opinion of Mohamed Sissoko, former Juventus midfielder, who exclusively spoke to Mirko De Natale of TuttoJuve.com about the latest changes at Juve and recommended a name to management for the midfield position.

Q-Without going into too much detail, do you still believe in the Scudetto?

A-“Despite the gap from Milan, I haven’t changed my mind yet. There are many matches left to play, and anything can still happen. Allegri is doing a good job.”

Q-Therefore, could the Italian derby be a crucial juncture in Juventus’ quest for the Scudetto title?

A-“Juve will be playing in front of our fans against Inter. A win over the reigning champions could greatly change the atmosphere as well as put Juve back on track even further in their title race.”

Q-Normally, Juventus’ match against Inter is highly anticipated in the Turin area, but this week we saw another game in which Juventus did not win completely. Were you expecting the non-renewal of Dybala?

A-“Honestly, yes, I expected the non-renewal. A new cycle has started again, a new project, the arrival of Vlahović has changed the technical aspect as explained by the director Arrivabene. Surely there will be other players who will do well in this team. ”

Q-A player of this calibre will be missed by Juventus for how long??

A-“A champion like Paulo will always be missed in this team. But football is like this, we will have to start from a great player like Vlahović and the hope will be to see new champions with the Juve shirt”.

Q-Will this affect his performance on the pitch, after what happened?

A-“No, Paulo will behave like a professional until the last day. He will do everything to leave a great memory of himself, so I have no doubts about the qualities that he will demonstrate on the pitch. He has been here for seven years, let’s not forget that. . He will remain a Juventus fan. ”

Q-Where will Paulo Dybala play next year?

A-“The truth is that I don’t know, I’m reading that there are many teams interested in him. And it can’t be otherwise. I see him in Spain, for me he could be the right profile for La Liga. Inter? fans see him wearing the shirt of his usual rivals “.

Q-Who could be his replacement?

A-“There are many strong players, but we are only in March. I trust the club, as always. We will see what happens.”

Q-I try to tease you on the midfield: the fans dream of the big shot. Will it come for you?

A-“I hope so as a Juventus fan, the names I read are all strong and of a different profile. Lately, however, there is a young man that I have been following more than the others. For me, you do not know him. His name is Orkun Kökçü, he is the number 10 of Feyenoord. Although young, he already has about ten appearances for the Turkish national team. It doesn’t cost much, he has a low salary, for me, he is the right player for Juventus”.

Q-In your opinion, is he already be ready for Serie A?

A-“For me, he is ready for the qualitative leap in a great club like Juventus, after all the players from the Eredivisie are having a big impact in Italy. He is the protagonist in Feyenoord, he is a player with 6 goals and 8 assists and is the best of his league “.

Q-In what role does Kökçü play?

A-“I saw him play in different roles, he made a good impression on me both as a central and as an attacking midfielder. He is perfect as a pivot in a three-man midfield, Juve is looking for a profile like him to improve the game”.

Q-For those unfamiliar with him, who does he look like in the style of play?

A-“I lose my balance and answer Modric, for me, he has the same quality of play. He has the potential to reach his level”.
