Leandro Paredes, the Argentine midfielder on loan at Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain, has spoken out about the club’s disappointing 2022/23 season.
In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Paredes acknowledged the difficulties the team faced and expressed gratitude to his teammates and fans.
“It’s been a very difficult year and it hurts not being able to achieve the goals we had, but I bring with me an incredible group of players and people,” Paredes wrote.
“I just wanted to thank the fans who have always supported me throughout the year, but especially each of my teammates, I will always carry them with me. Fino Alla Fine.”

Unfortunately for Juventus, the season was indeed a disappointment.
The club was hit with a 10-point deduction in Serie A due to their involvement in the European Super League, and they finished the season in 7th place in the league standings.
They were knocked out of the Champions League group stage and the Europa League semi-finals, and will now have to settle for Conference League football next season.
Paredes, who is expected to return to PSG as Juventus will not redeem him, was one of the bright spots in an otherwise lackluster season for the club.
His loan spell at Juventus may have come to an end, but his message of gratitude and appreciation for his teammates and fans will surely be remembered.
