A goal seemingly coming from nothing in the first 15 minutes, Fabio Miretti passed to an open Vlahovic on the top of the box who finessed the ball into the left corner of the Sassuolo net.
The Serbian was not satisfied with one goal as he stepped up to take a free kick from a bit further out of his first goal. Yet again, Vlahovic stunned the crowd with a fantastic shot into the top right corner from the set piece to grab his ninth goal of the season.
The Bianconeri absorbed any pressure from a Sassuolo attack but Wojciech Szczęsny had to make a huge save from a Domenico Berardi shot on the counter.
To put the icing on the cake late in the game, Federico Chiesa scored the third goal after a loose ball in the Sassuolo half that Manuel Locatelli carried and gave to his Italian compatriot to score.
Juventus can go to the top of Serie A with a win on Sunday at Lecce.
