Juventus 4-2 Torino: Player Ratings
Published
1 year agoon
A big second half performance saw Juventus storm past city rivals Torino in a six goal thriller. The Bianconeri climb into seventh place, only six points behind Atalanta.
The Derby della Mole couldn’t have started in a worse way for Juventus. Bad defending left Yann Karamoh unmarked after a corner and the Frenchman put the visitors ahead. Fifteen minutes later, the Bianconeri equalized. Good work by Filip Kostić got the ball to Juan Cuadrado, who smashed it behind Vanja Milinković-Savić.
Then, just before the break, Antonio Sanabria got in front of Gleison Bremer to put Ivan Ilić’ cross behind Wojciech Szczęsny. Danilo made sure Juventus did not go into the dressing room while being down, as his header moments before the whistle passed the line.
With Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa subbed on, Juventus got an impuls. The latter assisted Bremer, who scored a heading goal against his old team, whom he nonetheless celebrated against. Adrien Rabiot put an end to all Granata hopes when he got to the end of a free-kick ten minutes before the end to make it 4-2.
