Dusan Vlahovic’s early strike secured Juventus their 15th Coppa Italia title with a narrow 1-0 victory over Atalanta in a tense final. Despite dominating possession, Atalanta failed to convert their dominance into goals, never registering a single shot on target.
This win marks a repeat performance for Juventus, having previously defeated Atalanta in the 2021 Coppa Italia final by a score of 2-1. For Atalanta, their hunt for a second trophy after their 1963 Coppa Italia win remains unfulfilled.
The Bianconeri wasted no time in taking the lead. Dusan Vlahovic capitalized on a defensive lapse by Berat Djimsiti within the opening four minutes, racing onto an Andrea Cambiaso through ball and firing past Marco Carnesecchi in the Atalanta goal.
Atalanta controlled most of the possession but struggled to create clear-cut opportunities. While they introduced fresh legs in the second half with El Bilal Toure’s introduction, their attacking efforts remained ineffective.

Juventus defended resolutely, with Gleison Bremer making a crucial block on Toure. They nearly doubled their lead with another Vlahovic effort, but a VAR intervention ruled him offside.
The final minutes saw both sides threaten. A Lookman shot for Atalanta went narrowly wide, while Fabio Miretti rattled the crossbar for Juventus.
The closing stages weren’t without controversy. A late foul by Atalanta on Danilo infuriated Juventus manager Max Allegri, leading to his dismissal for dissent.
Juventus can celebrate their Coppa Italia triumph, adding another trophy to their illustrious cabinet. For Atalanta, the loss will be a bitter pill to swallow, particularly considering their dominance in possession that failed to translate into goals.
