In a highly anticipated decision, the Guarantees Committee will determine the fate of Italian football club Juventus regarding the -15 penalty imposed on them.
The judgment, which is set to be announced today, will decide whether there will be a new trial for Juventus.
The -15 penalty was originally imposed on Juventus by the Federal Court of Appeal due to alleged irregularities in their historic transfer dealings, which dealt a significant blow to their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, Juventus executives, including Francesco Calvo, have expressed optimism in the club’s adherence to correct procedures and are hopeful that the penalty will be overturned.

Sources from La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that there may be a new trial for Juventus, as the club believes that the original charges against them were different from the ones contained in the deferment, and that the penalty imposed is not proportionate.
Additionally, the club contends that the Covisoc letters constituted the beginning of the disciplinary action and their non-acquisition is a clear violation of the right to defense.
