Álvaro Morata remains a target for Juventus as a potential alternative for young striker Joshua Zirkzee in the summer transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Securing Morata’s services could be a more straightforward process compared to pursuing Zirkzee.
Juventus is reportedly seeking the assistance of Bayern Munich in negotiations for Zirkzee to overcome competition and secure a lower price than the €60 million demanded by Bologna.
In contrast, a potential deal for Morata, currently at Atlético Madrid, is estimated to be around €15 million. However, his wages could pose a challenge for Juventus, as they are aiming to reduce their overall wage bill.

Morata, who previously played for Juventus, is well-known to the club and would represent a more experienced option upfront.
He has a proven track record in Serie A, having scored nine goals and seven assists in 35 appearances during his previous stint with Juventus.
Despite the potential appeal of Morata’s return, Juventus will need to carefully consider his wage demands and their overall financial situation before making a decision.
Additionally, securing his release from Atlético Madrid could also prove to be a challenge.
