Juventus faces challenging reorganization amidst loan returns and potential departures

As Juventus prepares for a new chapter, the club finds itself grappling with the complex task of dealing with returning loan players.

While Tottenham’s decision to exercise their option to buy Dejan Kulusevski for €35m remains uncertain, Liverpool has already bid farewell to Arthur, and Denis Zakaria is bidding adieu to Chelsea.

In a surprising turn of events, Leeds United appears to have different priorities regarding Weston McKennie.

Aside from the financial implications of missed redemption fees, Juventus also faces the daunting challenge of finding suitable destinations for these players.

While McKennie and Zakaria might find new opportunities in the Bundesliga, Arthur’s hopes lie in securing a last-minute loan move to La Liga.

The likelihood of Lazio exercising their €15 million buy-back option for Luca Pellegrini seems unlikely, and he may begin the season in Turin, either awaiting a new agreement between the clubs or exploring other potential destinations.

Farewell bids are in order for Ángel Di María and Adrien Rabiot, as their time at Juventus comes to an end.

Despite previous discussions and strong interest from Max Allegri, the club has now decided against renewing Di María’s contract.

The road to securing Rabiot’s future appears increasingly challenging, given his aspirations and competition from Arsenal, Newcastle, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, especially without the guarantee of Champions League football.

Conversely, the expiration of Leandro Paredes’ loan deal means that a mandatory redemption fee is no longer in effect.

Nicolò Rovella, returning from Monza, is expected to fill the void left by Paredes. The leading candidate to succeed Rabiot is Davide Frattesi, who has also attracted interest from Milan and Inter.

Moreover, the upcoming match against Milan could potentially mark the final home appearance for either Federico Chiesa or Dusan Vlahovic.

Juventus’ transfer market activity, along with the offers received, will ultimately determine which of the former Fiorentina players will be sacrificed in the pursuit of financial stability.

At present, the Serbian striker seems to be the primary candidate due to considerations such as playing position (as many top clubs are seeking a traditional center forward), age, and the potential for growth following a season that fell short of expectations.

A bid in the range of €60-70 million may prove difficult for Juventus to turn down. As for Chiesa, who has encountered physical setbacks in the past year and a half, a slightly lower offer could be sufficient to secure his services.

Should Vlahovic depart, there is a possibility that Arek Milik, whose buyout clause from Marseille stands at €7 million, could be retained.

Additionally, attention should be directed towards Gianluca Scamacca, who might seek a loan move away from West Ham.
