‘Juve is my second home’ – Juan Cuadrado reflects on his personal and professional growth with the club

Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado has opened up about his time with the club and the challenges he has faced in his life, in an interview with Sky Italia.
Speaking about his time at Juventus, the Colombian international said: “I grew up at Juventus both as a person and as a father. I like the tranquility of Turin, it’s my second home.”
Cuadrado also spoke about the difficulties he faced growing up, saying: “My father passed away when I was 4 years old, I lived with my mother and she gives me strength. She always knew I was fighting for my dream. I always dreamed of becoming a professional football player. There were difficult moments, but they helped me grow.”
Reflecting on his arrival at Juventus, Cuadrado said: “Here winning is everything: championships, titles, it’s in the DNA of this club. Every player is aware of it when they’re here.”

Cuadrado also spoke about his experience in the Champions League, saying: “My experience was exciting. We reached the Champions League final, we came close on other occasions.”
The 34-year-old has been a key player for Juventus since his arrival in 2015, helping the club to win five Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia trophies.
