Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci are Juventus legends and idols for defensive players all over the world. Their greatness has never been in doubt, but their age is catching up to them. With Chiellini injured so often and Bonucci starting to have the same symptoms, the Juventus management is looking to bring in new defensive reinforcements this summer.
According to ilbianconero, there are three names on the list for the upcoming transfer market. Antonio Rudiger would be the dream for the Old Lady, but his salary demands of 12 million euros are not feasible for the club. Rudiger is a free agent this summer and will have many clubs aiming for his signature.
An achievable goal for the Bianconeri is Gleison Bremer. The Brazilian has been one of the best defenders in Serie A this season for Torino and would be available for 30 million euros this summer. Juventus would face stiff competition from Inter Milan who is pushing hard for the young defender.
Management could also look to Fiorentina once again with Nikola Milenkovic’s contract up in 2023 and the Florence club would be willing to sell this summer to avoid losing him for free. The Serbian would find his compatriot Dusan Vlahovic at Juventus who could help him assimilate into the club.
Juventus will have a lot of options to look at this summer as the club is preparing for life after the legendary duo.
