Juventus are making significant moves to secure the future of Serbian sensation Dusan Vlahovic, as negotiations with his agent, Darko Ristic, gain momentum.
Ristic’s recent presence at the Juventus-Lazio match was no coincidence, as discussions regarding Vlahovic’s contract extension are poised to intensify in the coming months. He already met with Cristiano Giuntoli, as per reports.
The 23-year-old striker, who has been a revelation since joining Juventus from Fiorentina, has garnered immense attention for his impressive goal-scoring prowess.
As his current contract with the Turin-based club runs until June 2026, Juventus aims to secure his services well into the future.
One of the key elements of the contract extension discussions revolves around a substantial salary adjustment. Juventus is willing to offer Vlahovic an annual salary of €7 million, a significant increase from his current earnings.
The Serbian striker’s existing contract already places him among the top earners at Juventus, and securing a salary reduction may prove difficult.
Nonetheless, the club is exploring the possibility of remodulating part of the fixed salary into performance-based bonuses, demonstrating a commitment to financial flexibility while rewarding on-field excellence.
The negotiations between Dusan Vlahovic’s agent, Darko Ristic, and Juventus have been ongoing and will continue with Ristic’s planned visits to Turin in the coming weeks.
However, it’s worth noting that Vlahovic is not the only player on Juventus’ radar for contract negotiations. Other prominent names like Federico Chiesa, Adrien Rabiot, and Wojciech Szczesny are also set to be part of the forthcoming discussions.
