Juventus must keep De Ligt but only on this condition

De Ligt has been linked with a move to Manchester United, reports from Barcelona suggests Erik Ten Hag wants to reunite with both De Jong and De Ligt. Meanwhile, Juventus have shown no intention to sell the dutch centre back and they still see him as part of the future. Here’s the concerning part:
De Ligt has two years left on his current deal. His contract expires in 2024 and Juventus have to sit down with his agents this summer and make a decision. If de Ligt wants to extend stay, than Juve must keep him at the club but if the centre back’s agent show no intention of renewing, than a sale must be considered.
If de Ligt stays without extending his current deal, he will loose value by next year due to contractual situation plus there will be a risk of him leaving for free.
I would happily keep De Ligt at the club and pair him with another young promising centre back signing this summer but the centre back must extend first.
