Juventus v Monza: Match preview, team news and probable lineups

After a two-match winless streak in Serie A, Juventus return to action on Sunday when they host Monza at the Allianz Stadium at 15:00 local time.

Juventus have conceded eight goals in Serie A in their last two matches, meanwhile, had conceded only seven goals in 17 games before that two games.

The first half of the season ended leaving Juventus in 10th place with 23 points after being penalized and deducted15 points, the plan is the second half of the season where they will be fighting for the big four.

In the last two games of the first half of the season, they lost 5-1 fo to Napoli before drawing with Atalanta 3-3 in their most recent match.

As for Monza, they are unbeaten in their last five matches in Serie A, with two wins and three draws.

Monza finished the first half of the season in 12th place with 21 points, one behind Juventus. In their last game in the league they drew 1-1 with Sassuolo last week.

Juventus and Monza are going to meet for the second time in less than a 10 days, where they last met in the Coppa Italia last Thursday. Juventus won 2-1 thanks to goals from Moise Kean and Federico Chiesa.

Team news and probable lineups

Juventus are ready to welcome Paul Pogba and Dusan Vlahovic will appear in this game after a long time away absence due to injury.

Paul Pogba has not played in Serie A since the start of the season, while Vlahovic has not been on the pitch since October.

Massimiliano Allegri has decided to rest Federico Chiesa, meaning he is absent, while Juan Cuadrado is also absent despite featuring in the Atalanta game last week.

Mattia De Sciglio is also back, and could start from the beginning pitch, while Leonardo Bonucci remains sidelines.

Monza, meanwhile, arrive at the Allianz Stadium with few fitness worries, and Raffaele Palladino has an almost full squad to select from upon his return to a club where he once scored 10 goals in 51 league appearances.

Dany Mota returns from a muscular problem to boost the visitors’ attacking options, while Juventus loanee Nicolo Rovella is now back up to speed and could even start against his parent club.
