Reports have emerged suggesting that Juventus is keen to offer Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood a fresh start in Italy.

According to The Sun, the Turin-based club has expressed a strong interest in providing the young player with a route back to top-level football, and have already sounded out Greenwood’s camp.

Juventus is said to be considering a long-term loan deal for Greenwood, with the hope that having former team-mate Paul Pogba in the squad will help to persuade the striker to make the move.

However, Juventus faces competition from Milan and Roma, as well as potential interest from Turkish clubs.

Greenwood, who is just 19 years old, has not played for Manchester United since January 2022 and is currently training alone away from their Carrington base.

United is reportedly concerned that they may struggle to attract a significant transfer fee for Greenwood, who still has two years left on his £75,000-a-week contract, making a long-term loan deal the most likely option.

Despite allegations of rape and assault being dropped against Greenwood in February 2022, Manchester United may be reluctant to let go of one of their brightest talents, who has shown immense potential since making his debut in 2019.
