Juventus-Villareal: Champions League preview and probable starting XI
With the first leg ending in a 1-1 draw, Juventus prepare to play Villareal on Wednesday for the second leg of the Champions League round-of-16 at the Allianz Stadium.
The Bianconeri are coming off a 3-1 win against Sampdoria in Serie A and Villareal beat Celta Vigo 1-0 in La Liga.
The last time the two clubs faced each other, Dusan Vlahovic made his Champions League debut by scoring in the first 32 seconds of the game. The Yellow Submarines responded in the 66th minute with Dani Parejo tying the game.
The Old Lady have won four out of their four games played since the match against Villareal. The Spanish club has also won three out of their three games played and has an added boost with star forward Gerard Moreno back in training with the club and could feature on Wednesday’s game.
Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri said in a press conference before tomorrow’s game that Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala will be available for the match, starting on the bench, but Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro are still out.
