Juventus beat Atalanta 1-0 in the Coppa Italia final to claim the trophy. Juventus got an early boost as Dusan Vlahovic converted a one-on-one chance in the 4th minute of the game. The Bianconeri then held on to the lead for the rest of the 90 to win the cup.

Defence

Mattia Perin – 8: Mattia Perin played a pivotal role in the final. he made many amazing saves to help Juventus keep their 1-0 lead. He deserved to play in the final ahead of Szczesny as he got the team into the final.

Gatti – 8: Gatti had one of his best games for the season. The whole defence was rock solid, and he contributed to that. He stopped two, potential one-on-ones from taking shape.

Bremer – 8: Bremer was rock solid today as he used his dominant force in defence. He was there for all of Atalanta’s set pieces, stopping them all. as well as keeping Lookman very quiet. He will be a big loss if he leaves in the transfer window.

Danilo – 7.5: Danilo wasn’t as dominant as Bremer or Gatti. But he shadowed Teun Koopmeiners throughout the game. Koopmeiners has enjoyed excellent goalscoring form this season. Therefore, Danilo’s performance was crucial to Juve’s successful defence of their one-goal lead.

Midfield

Samuel Illing Jr – 7: Illing Jr had a crucial role in the game due to Atalanta’s high press. The defence looked very panicked at times, forcing him to drop back, recivce the ball and help with the transition.

Andrea Cambiaso – 8.5:  Andrea Cambiaso was also dropping deap to help the defence move the ball. He also rushed forward a lot, leading to him assisting Vlahovic’s goal.

Hans Nicolussi Caviglia – 7: Hans Nicolussi Caviglia played one of his best games for Juventus against Atalanta. He replaced Locatelli in midfield and was always in the right areas.

Adrien Rabiot – 8: Rabiot dominated the midfield with his excellent control on the ball. He was attacking more than defending until Miretti came on. The 29-year-old then continued in a more defence role but still shined.

Weston Mckennie – 6.5: In a game where most Juventus players had solid performances, Mckennie went about his job quietly. Nonetheless, he did enough for his position and helped Juventus claim the title.

Fabio Miretti – 7.5: Fabio Miretti came on in the  65th minute and helped Juventus maintain their attacking edge. This was after Juventus took a defence stance to protect their one goal lead. He started multiple counter attacks and came the closest to scoring when one of his shot bounced off the crossbar.

Attack

Dusan Vlahovic – 9: Vlahovic scored a 4th-minute goal to give Juventus an early lead. A close offside call prevented the Serbian striker from scoring his second goal of the night. He could have won a penalty, but we shouldn’t be speculating: Vlahovic had a great game.

Federico Chiesa – 7.5: Federico Chiesa had a good game today, dropping deep to play as a midfielder for most of the game. However, he was brought off early in the 70th minute for Kenan Yildiz.
