On Wednesday, Juventus U19 play at AFAS Trainingscomplex in the Netherlands vs AZ Alkmaar U19 in the UEFA Youth League round of 16. The U19 players of Alkmaar currently sit in the first place of Eredivisie U19 with 2 point lead. Groningen U19 is behind in second and has already played one more game than AZ. In comparison, the Bianconeri U19 team is fifth in the Primavera 1., which could perhaps make the Dutch squad more comfortable being more successful in their domestic competition.
Nevertheless, Juventus surely has the motivation needed after missing out on probable trophy chances by losing to Roma on penalties last Wednesday in the quarter-final of Coppa Italia Primavera.
