Karavaev: ‘Chiesa could become best in the world’

Zenit defender Vyacheslav Karavaev looked ahead to tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Juventus with Tuttosport. He talked about his favorite Juventus player and Zenit’s chances in the group.
When asked about which Juve player he likes, Karavaev had a clear answer. “Chiesa has everything: dribbling, shooting and speed. He could become the best in the world in the future.”
Karavaev almost moved to Lazio in 2017 after his first season at Sparta Prague. “It would have been very nice.” Now he’ll face Juventus at the Gazprom Arena. “Anything is possible. At home we can match everyone. We don’t have a leader at Zenit, the team counts. We believe in ourselves, run and work for each other.”
Sheriff Tiraspol
Karavaev looks at Sheriff Tiraspol for inspiration. “Juve have won a lot in Italy, but we are ready to face any opponent, that’s football. We have to give our best, like Sheriff Tiraspol, who took 6 points at Shaktar Donetsk and Real Madrid.”
