Kwadwo Asamowah, who played for Juventus, said that he would not be surprised to see Antonio Conte return to Juventus, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He said this after Juventus were knocked out of the Champions League, following a loss to Benfica Lisbon, which followed their worst performance this season overall.
Kwadwo Asamoah has spoken of how he regards Antonio Conte as his second father, and has confirmed that he wouldn’t be surprised for his return to Juventus.
“Joining Juventus was my turning point and also for this reason I consider Conte almost like a second dad,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“It was fortunate to cross him on my path, thanks to him I became a different player and my career took off.
“His return to Juventus would not surprise me because over the years I have learned that anything can happen in football.
“Conte is a world-class coach and at Juventus he has already done a great job in the past. A job that he then continued on with excellent results, however, Allegri, another great coach.”
Asamoah continued to talk about Juventus’ performance this season, saying that the way Juventus were under Conte is not the same.
He said: “I haven’t seen all the Juventus matches, but in the ones I followed the feeling is that the hunger, the determination and the Juve spirit that I learned from Conte are not always maximum.
“There is a lack of continuity, which is one of the fundamental qualities for wearing the black and white jersey. When you play for Juventus, there are no ‘normal’ games: they are all decisive and especially those to be won at all costs against the mid-low ranking teams.
“It is a question of mentality . In my time Conte and the various Buffons, Chiellini, Barzagli, Marchisio and Bonucci were decisive in transmitting certain values to me, to young people and to the new ones.
“Now Bonucci has remained. Leonardo does his, but now he is a bit alone .. . I’m sorry, and it’s a pity, not to see the Juventus of the past that we were all used to anymore.”
On his time to Juventus, he said: “The first memory is the final of the 2013-14 season. We had won the Scudetto a few days in advance, but Conte didn’t want to relax. costs to cross the line of 102 points.
“In the end we succeeded and we were all very satisfied. That’s how Conte is, he’s a great coach and an exceptional motivator: both in training and in the game he never makes you relax.
“He always wants to go one hundred percent. one hundred and he is the first to lead by example. And then he takes great care of the details: with him you can miss a step, but not a position.”
Paul Pogba has returned to Juventus after six years, but is unable to play a single game this season due to an injury sustained in pre-season.
Asamoah announced that they are writing to each other and said that he hopes that Pogba will help Juventus a lot during his return.
“We arrived at Juventus the same year and we have always had a great feeling, on and off the pitch. Paul and I write to each other every now and then on social media,” he said.
“I’m happy he’s back in Juventus. We talk about a champion who, when he’s well, it makes a difference. I am convinced that once again he will give a big hand to the team.”
