Juventus kick started their preseason in some fashion as they won their first game against the Mexican side Guadalajara by 2-0 at Allegiant Stadium, Nevada. Here are all the key takeaways from the game.

In their first game of US Tour, Juventus fielded a mix of youngsters and experienced players. Therefore, a lot of new signings got to start under Allegri. Angel Di Maria, Pogba and Federico Gatti started the game meanwhile Bremer came in the second half from the bench. It was an exciting and solid display from all the newcomers as they would look to keep the same momentum as the season gets closer.
2 great team goals scored by youngsters:
Allegri’s men won against the Mexican side by 2-0 and both the goals were scored by the young players of Juventus. Da Graca scored the first goal from a corner kick setup as Gatti attacked the ball first from the header and Da Graca finished the deflected shot from close range. Juventus then have to wait for their second goal, as it came in the last ten minutes of the game when Compagnon finished a beautifully settup goal by the bianconeri on a counter attack.
Di Maria, Pogba and their creative intent:
The two new star signings Di Maria and Pogba attracted a lot of eyeballs with their performance. Although both the players played just the first half, but their impact was evident in the starting 11. Angel Di Maria was involved in almost all the chances that were created in the game while Pogba was responsible for making the transition from defense to attack smooth. Angel Di Maria was the star performer of the game and he even pre assisted the first goal for Bianconeri. The creative intent was clearly visible, both the players now just have to work a bit on decision making in the final third.
Gatti in the first half, Bremer in the second:
Federico Gatti started the game from the first minute. He had a very calm and composed performance on the pitch. His aerial presence was highly appreciable as the Italian assisted the first goal. He was also involved in the build ups from the back. However in the second half, he was substituted by the new signing Bremer in the 46th minute, who ended up having an equally impressive performance. His aggressive defending and exceptional pace made sure that bianconeri will be heading to the dressing room with a clean sheet. It will be intriguing to see how they both will work as the centre back pairing in the upcoming season.
