Matias Soule talks the possibility of returning to Juventus in January, playing for Italy and more
Frosinone’s recent success in the Coppa Italia has drawn attention not just for the team but also for one player in particular, Matias Soulé, who is currently on loan from Juventus.
Frosinone’s quarter-final berth, where they are slated to face Napoli, is significant, and it has raised questions about Soulé’s future, both with the club and his parent organization.
In an interview with SportMediaset, the 2003-born Argentine talent shed light on his current status and aspirations.
While Italy and Luciano Spalletti had expressed interest in him representing the Italian national team, Soulé has resolutely chosen to remain true to his Argentine roots, stating, “I thank Spalletti, but I feel Argentinian.”

He went on to explain, “I thanked him because he wanted me; then I also spoke with Walter Samuel, who told me that I was pre-called up. I’m waiting for Argentina. I don’t know if it will happen now or later, but I am Argentine; I was born there, and my heart always tells me Argentina.”
Soulé, who has been instrumental in Frosinone’s impressive season, commented on the club’s style of play. He emphasized their approach to matches, saying, “We are aiming high. We approach every match as if there were no opponents, and we play the same way against anyone.”
He also revealed, “The coach tells us he wants to play to win every time, starting from the back and keeping the ball on the ground; this is our path. We have a clear idea, and this motivates us. We are delighted, young, and eager to play. I think this is the right way to take Frosinone as high as possible.”
While Soulé’s loan to Frosinone is ongoing, there have been speculations about his potential return to Juventus, perhaps in the January transfer window.
On this matter, the young Argentine said, “I’ve read something about a potential return in January, but I’m not thinking about it now. I’m focused on Frosinone; we play every three days, which keeps me busy.” He also shared his calm demeanor, stating, “June is still a long way off, so I’m calm.”
