Max & Mo: Kostic agreed personal terms with Juventus, Morata close to stay while Dybala edging closer to Inter and more

Alvaro Morata’s future after ending his loan spell at Juventus is still in doubt but reports from the transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio confirm that the Spaniard is very close to staying at Juventus.

The striker will end his two years loan deal at the end of June but he hopes to remain at Juventus with the Bianconeri already in talks with Atletico Madrid since weeks ago.

Massimilliano Allegri doesn’t want Alvaro Morata — who joined Juventus in 2020 on a two year loan deal from Atletico Madrid with an option to buy him around €35m [a fee which is believed to be high by Juventus] — to leave.

Speaking on the future of the former Chelsea striker, Atletico Madrid president Cerezo says via Calciomercato: “He has a contract with Juventus and until Juventus says whether he will stay or not, we will wait.”

Juventus talked with Atletico about Moise Kean and if there was a possibility to add him into the deal but were told that the Spanish club would not accept any exchanges.

There’s expected meeting between both clubs to find the solution in the coming days.

Paulo Dybala is now edging close to joining Inter for free

Juventus had maintained a verbal agreement of four-year contract worth €8m net plus €2m in bonuses based on his performance back in October last year and Dybala would have renewed 100% but the Juventus club turned back in February and decided not to renew him.

Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun was present at the Inter HQ on Wednesday with both sides already talking about the future of Paulo Dybala who is currently a free agent.

The feelings coming out of Wednesday’s meeting were reportedly positive and signing with Inter remains as Paulo Dybala’s priority, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Argentinian is now very close to joining Inter which is already in direct contact with his agent since weeks ago.

There is still a gap on the final bonuses for Dybala’s salary but the feeling is that a full agreement will be found soon.

Juventus and Kostic agreed personal terms

Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Filip Kostic, However, as of today, no talks have been opened with Eintract Frankfurt. The German club is trying to extend Kostic’s current deal which expires in 2023, but the player has not responded to the extension proposal yet.

Chelsea are the team with most interest in Matthjis De Ligt

Currently, the Blues have Jules Kounde as the priority but the feeling is that Chelsea will go for 2 centre backs. It remains to be seen how much they are willing to spend on the second centre back signing, but after Kounde, De Ligt is the highest name on Chelsea’s list.

Talks with Juventus continue for De Ligt but there is no agreement to extend the current deal, which expires in 2024. A departure this summer cannot be ruled out should a convincing bid arrive. Juventus would happily keep De Ligt and have no intention to sell him but as mentioned above a huge offer and player’s will could make Bianconeri sanction a sale.
