Moise Kean will join Juventus from Everton on loan, with an obligation to buy under certain conditions, according to Fabrizio Romano. The total fee will be around €20.00m and Kean agreed to a contract of five seasons. Kean’s medical is taking place in Turin tomorrow.
Juventus was looking to strengthen their attack after Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United. Kean was sold to Everton in 2019 for a fee of €27.50m. In his first season in the Premier League, Kean only managed to get 2 goals and 2 assists in 29 matches for the Toffees. Kean was loaned to Paris Saint-Germain last season, where he scored 19 goals and gave 1 assist in 45 matches. The 21-year-old mainly played as a centre-forward. Paris Saint-Germain wanted to buy Kean after a succesfull season in the French capital, but they couldn’t agree on a deal with Everton.
It was a somewhat disappointing summer for Kean, because he wasn’t selected by Italy for the European Championship. Now Kean returns to the club where he spent 7 years in the youth academy. He played 21 matches for the senior team of the Bianconeri, in which he scored 8 goals.
