Nicolò Fagioli, the Juventus midfielder, made a guest appearance tonight at the Gentleman Fair Play Awards. Here are his statements to the press, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb:
Fagioli began by acknowledging the upcoming challenge against Lazio: “Lazio will be a tough match. They played a great game against Napoli, coming off two defeats. We’re preparing ourselves to face them at our best, and let’s see what result we can achieve.”
When asked about the Scudetto (Serie A title), Fagioli clarified, “No, the coach has asked us to aim for a top-four finish, and our goal is to be in close pursuit of the top four by December 30th. That’s our objective.”
Regarding his aspirations with the national team, Fagioli expressed his dream, saying, “My dream is definitely to participate in the European Championship. The coach is highly experienced, and I don’t need to say much about him, considering he won a Scudetto with Napoli, playing beautiful football. I’m delighted with yesterday’s victory.”
