As per reports from Romeo Agresti Juventus are not in contact with representatives of Federico Bernadeschi, Mattia De Sciglio and Mattia Perin for contract extension. The contracts of the mentioned three players are set to expire in 2022.
Federico Bernadeschi despite having good relationship with manager Massimiliano Allegri probably won’t be playing for the old lady next season. The player played 12 matches so far this season and has failed to find the back of the net. To the relief of many Bianconeri fans, Bernadeschi’s renewal is apparently not on the cards.
The news about Mattia Perin comes as a shocker since we don’t have a definite backup to Wojciech Szczesny besides Carlo Pinsoglio. Although it was pretty clear from the start that Perin is not happy being a backup and wishes for more playing time. Tek is having a shaky season and it’s hard to imagine him being the number 1 goalkeeper for long. So with Perin leaving, it’s precedented that the club would invest in the goalkeeping position and we’ll have new arrivals.
Mattia De Sciglio is currently out after suffering a hamstring injury in the match against Sassuolo. Despite being considered an integral part of Allegri’s project, the 29 year old Italian fullback has only played 6 matches this season. So if reports are to be believed this would be his last season in the black and white colors.
