On February 6, 2022, exactly one year ago, Dusan Vlahovic made his debut for Juventus against Verona and he did not disappoint.
In just 13 minutes, he showed why Juventus invested 80 million euros in him by scoring a goal. This was a dream start for the Serbian striker who was eager to prove his worth and had left Fiorentina to join Juventus.
However, the rest of the year in Turin was not as successful as he had hoped. Juventus failed to win any titles and ended the season in fourth place in the Champions League.
Vlahovic’s personal performance also took a hit as he suffered from groin pain which affected his performance in the final part of the season and during the summer training camp.

The start of the 2022-23 season was slow for Vlahovic due to his physical problems and he only made his debut in the Coppa Italia against Lazio last week.
Despite the slow start, Juventus fans are still hopeful for Vlahovic’s future with the club. He has so far played 38 games for a total of 2,997 minutes and has scored 16 goals and assisted in 4.
With the right support and management, Vlahovic has the potential to be a valuable asset to Juventus and fans are looking forward to seeing him play tomorrow against Salernitana.
They hope that February 7, 2023 will be a reminder of the successful debut Vlahovic had a year ago on February 6, 2022.
