Opinion: Dybala won’t succeed wherever he goes
Paulo Dybala is set to leave Juventus after seven years. Dybala has so far registered 285 appearances in a Bianconeri shirt, scoring 113 goals. Here is my opinion whether Paulo Dybala can succeed at any of the clubs he’s been linked to.
Dybala doesn’t have a huge market for himself even though signing him will not cost a transfer fee. The only clubs that have been linked with Dybala so far are Inter Milan, PSG and Atletico Madrid. Inter Milan are currently the most interested in Joya but will first need to sell one of their asset in the attack.
Going to Inter Milan, we hugely hurt Paulo’s Juventus legacy. Many young Juventini adore Dybala. The fans still love to practice his mask celebration, Dybala is a Juventini favourite but he won’t remain so if he joins fierce rivals in Inter Milan.
Can Paulo go to PSG? PSG can defenitely pay him whatever he wants but do PSG really want him plus will that be a good fit? Paulo Dybala was linked to Spurs a couple of years ago when current PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino was in charge of Spurs, so there is a feeling that Pochettino might want Dybala at PSG but he the Argentine manager didn’t had Lionel Messi at Spurs with him which he does at PSG and if you look at the past. Dybala and Messi have never got on well together on the field in an argentinian shirt. Dybala has always been sidelined. PSG will be good for Dybala’s bank account but not so much for his footballing ability.

Atletico Madrid? Reportedly, Diego Simeone is pushing Atletico Madrid hierachy to persue for Paulo Dybala but would the Argentine forward want to go there? I am not sure Dybala fits Atletico or Atletico fits Dybala. Atletico are known for their physicality and toughness and that’s the thing Paulo lacks the most. Atletico and Dybala don’t seem like a good fit to me. There are huge concerns over whether Atletico can even afford him or not as well.
