Opinion: What are the chances Icardi ends up at Juve?

Just before the end of 2021, leading up to this Januarys winter Mercato, we got word that Juventus Striker Alvaro Morata was being recruited by Barcelona and to be more specific, by their newly appointed manager Xavi Alonso, who has stated through the press that he would like to build his new Barcelona project around players who play on the countries National team, and while needing a striker, Juve’s Alavero Morata fits all of Xavi’s requirements.
For Juventus’s part, they would have no problem releasing the player who has expressed his desire to play for the Catalonian side, as Morata only has a few months remaining on his loan from Atletico Madrid, as Juve have already made it known that they have no intention of purchasing the player once this loan deal expires.
It is for this reason that Juve would have no problem satisfying the player by letting him go to the Spanish giants, the only problem though for Max Allegri is that he has no other option at the moment up front with Kaio Jorge still to young to take on a full load and Moise Kean who has been inconsistent so far this season.
With still 3 weeks left until this transfer window closes, there is still time for situations to change and new developments to emerge, so this article explores where we stand at the moment and if Juve have enough time and resources to make a deal for a replacement for Morata and thus making all sides happy come the end of January.
Calcio Mercato is again reporting that further contacts have been made to PSG’s director of Football Leonardo, who is said to be willing to let Striker Mauro Icardi go to Juventus to be Morata’s replacement, the only problem remains that PSG would like a full redemption at the end of any loan deal revolving around Icardi. At the moment this seems to be the only way for Juventus to get the player.
Although PSG so far has stood firm on their requirements, I still don’t see this being the end of a possible deal, and I believe that something between these three Clubs, Barcelona, Juventus and PSG will go down in the final hours before the deadline approaches as it’s clear PSG have no future plans for the player who at times has been seen as a distraction, so right now Leonardo is doing what all directors do and thats play hard ball and stand firm, but in the end I believe he will come to the conclusion that he’s better off having Icardi far away from Paris, and will be willing to let the player go to Juve on loan and will revisit getting rid of Icardi permanently during this upcoming summer transfer Mercato at the end of the season.
